Some women fake their orgasms because they do not want their man to feel inadequate. But do men cannot feel that they are just faking their orgasm? Although men could appreciate the efforts of women not to make them feel sexually incompetent, they are eager to know why women cannot achieve that big O. Knowing the reasons why most women struggle to orgasms could help men to come up with solutions on the problems of women regarding orgasm.
There are a number of factors affecting female orgasm. So why most women struggle to orgasm?
- Lack of confidence
They do not have the confidence to guide their partners on what they really need to orgasm because they do not think they are sexy enough to be desired. They are not confident that they are sexually attractive and they are not happy with their body. Women who have negative thoughts about their body and worry a lot on how their body looks to their man usually find it hard to orgasm. Lack of confidence makes most women struggle to orgasm.
2. Inability to relax and concentrate while making love
For a woman to reach orgasm she must be relaxed and ready to let go of all her inhibitions and be in that moment. Unfortunately, not all women can do that. Some women struggle to orgasm because they are unable to relax, let go of their wild side and allow themselves to be loved during lovemaking. Something might be bothering her or something makes her uncomfortable.

3. Lack of communication
For women, reaching orgasm is a collaborative work. When women are not asked on how they want to be touched or stimulated, their chances of reaching orgasm during lovemaking is reduced. Communication is the key for women to convey what she needs in bed to be able to orgasm.
4. Feeling pressured
Sometimes women struggle to orgasm when they feel they need to reciprocate or do something for their partner because of the pleasure they’ve been receiving. The pressure of pleasuring a man can take away their focus on their own body resulting to difficulties in reaching orgasm.
5. Health issues
There are a few medical reasons why some women struggle to orgasm. Hormonal imbalance and its medications could affect a woman’s sex drive. Anti-depressant and anti-anxiety medications can also affect one’s sex drive. If this is the case, it is best to seek medical advice to resolve her medical issues. Diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, pelvic injury or trauma, spinal cord injury and dryness of the vaginal could also result to difficulty in reaching orgasm. Age may also be a factor, as a woman gets older, her sexual cycle changes and her sex drive becomes lower making it hard for her to orgasm.
