Nicola Griffin, 56, will appear in this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue wearing a sexy gold bikini! As part of their ‘Swimsuits for All’ campaign, Nicola is also making history, officially becoming the oldest woman to ever appear in the swimsuit issue, showing that ‘sexy’ definitely doesn’t have an age limit.
Nicola began her modeling career only 3 years ago, at the age of 53, who is a single mom of twin daughters decided to get into the business after being scouted by White Hot Hair company.
“It’s not all about being 20 and five-foot-ten. We’re bored of that!” Griffin, who has also appeared in campaigns for FabuLift and Anna Scholz, told the Daily Mail. “We are all different ages and sizes and that’s the beauty of it. We’re real women.”
Earlier this year, the mag reported to feature plus-size model and body activist Ashley Graham as one of its five rookies, and now it announces to feature 50-year-old swim suit model.
