A environmentally-friendly, unbelievable, but-real razor called Skarp has been invented. According to the creators, the Skarp razor uses laser technology to “melt” hair off at the skin level without burning, leaving behind smooth skin that’s free of irritation, razor burn and cuts.
It will eliminate the hassle of replacement cartridges, having to use shaving cream or water to shave.
Other options including laser hair removal is expensive and time-consuming, while electrolysis and waxing which can be painful. But now, with teh creation of this new type razor that uses laser technology is a great medium to remove hair in a way that is both cost-effective and irritation-free.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency estimates that over 2 billion disposable razors are tossed into our landfills each year.
That’s a huge number, but there are few other options for cost-effective hair removal.
The researchers are currently raising money on Kickstarter, and they’ve raised almost $2.6 million toward the production and manufacture of Skarp — far more than their initial goal of $160,000. There are still several days left in the campaign, so there’s still time to get in on the “future of shaving” before everyone else. They’re still perfecting the product, but a release in 2016 is looking like a goal.
