A story that has gone viral this morning, is about mother, Tiffany Cherry who allegedly fled Pennsylvania Friday with her infant son after being instructed to hospitalize him for severe dehydration.
Massachusetts State Police activated an Amber Alert early Saturday for this woman who fled with her seriously ill infant son, allegedly ignoring directions to get the boy emergency medical care.
She was arrested on a felony warrant on Saturday after an Amber Alert was issued. The two-and-a-half-month old baby boy, Quavai, was found safe about a hour after the alert was issued at Children’s Hospital in Boston.
Cherry was believed to be in the Waltham area Friday night and the Amber Alert was issued.
When the staff at Children’s Hospital were notified of the Amber Alert they realized the boy was at the hospital and called Boston Police.
Cherry was taken into custody on child endangerment charges.
The infant remained hospitalized Saturday morning.
