Lauren Urasek earned the title from New York Magazine for ‘the most-messaged girl’ in New York City on dating website ‘OkCupid’ in 2014.
She receives almost 250 messages a week and has been rated 5 stars by over 8000 people! She had enough tales of meeting pervy and bizarro men that she just wrote a book about it, called Popular. She also has some advice for all of you online daters out there.
These tips are pretty revealing about the variables that make viewers engage with portrait/self portrait photography. Especially if your model wants people to wanna do them when they look at the pictures. Urasek says that when a potential match’s profile seems awesome, it’s a great thing. The important thing is not to put all of your eggs in one basket until you’ve physically met the person you’re interested in. And even then, be careful.
