Chontel Duncan is nine months pregnant, and she still rocks a six-pack!
In December 2015, Chontel posted to Facebook about her fitness routine, explaining,
“I train as much as I can & feel great moving my body. It’s mentality [sic] and physically makes me feel alive and really happy, which you need while your body is going through a huge change like pregnancy. I’m doing this because when I deliver I want to be strong (physically and mentally) so my baby isn’t hopefully stressed, I want to have a fast speed of recovery so I can physically do more for my baby afterwards, I want to be mentally strong for afterwards to help tackle those emotional challenges after baby is born.”
As much popularity she gained, she also received a lot of criticism from people who believe she’s harming the baby!
According to research, a pregnant woman can continue doing chores, exercises, workouts, as she did prior to her pregnancy! Just don’t begin any NEW, high-impact workouts during your last trimester, but one can continue doing so if she always did!
Anyways, we should spend less time judging mothers, and spend more time supporting them…
